Painter György Galántai, resident at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, appeared on the horizon of the police during the check of the target persons of the confidential investigation codenamed “Stúdiós [Studio Man]”.

He [Galántai] organised an exhibition of documents, an information basis, called “ART POOL” without the permission of the authorities. During his activities he already established contact with more than 200 Western citizens. Upon his request, artists representing radical Western ideas send him materials, predominantly with obscene content and carrying ideologically damaging messages. He organises exhibitions from these materials.

Using the material of the “Chapel Exhibition” in Balatonboglár, banned by the authorities, he launched a series of lectures combined with slide shows. He held the first lecture in his flat with about 40 persons attending.

He maintains regular contact with the persons watched by the division’s intelligence as part of the confidential investigations codenamed “Studio Man” and “Waiting”. He built an extensive network of relations during his trip to Western Europe this year as well as during the launch of his “ART POOL” action.

Based on the above, I have made the

D E C I S I O N

that I will start a confidential investigation to uncover and prevent the activities carried out by György Galántai and open a personal dossier codenamed “PAINTER”.

He will not be arrested in the event of “M” [mobilisation].
